Even if your bike is 100% stock you will see improvements in horsepower, fuel economy, reliability and response when the engine is tuned to run the way it’s supposed to. If you’ve modified your intake or exhaust proper tuning is even more important!

Modern fuel injected motorcycles come from the factory in a very compromised state so that they work ‘okay’ in a vast array of different elevations, temperatures, conditions etc and with many different qualities of fuel. And ontop of that they’re tuned for emissions to run excessively lean through the part-throttle, mid range RPM area, exactly where you spend most of your time! This causes abrupt on-off throttle transitions, “surging” at steady throttle, high engine temperatures, popping/backfiring and generally pour running. The single best thing you can do to improve your riding experience is to get your bike professionally tuned for YOUR conditions and YOUR riding. Even a completely stock bike will see as much as a 10% increase in horsepower and torque across the RPM range and more importantly run smoother, cooler and more effeciently across the entire RPM range and make you a smoother more confident rider.
